The foundation of organizational entity was set by Late Prakash Chand Jain in 1966. His passion for pan invented a delicacy called Pan Bahar Pan Masala for which he travelled around the country and procured the best quality ingredients from the richest farms, created a perfect blend of these ingredients and discovered the brand.
The family business welcomed Shri Dinesh Jain, The brand owner of Ashok & Co.- Pan Bahar Ltd. to join and carry forward the legacy….
The company has a strong foothold in the market today, with one of the largest pan masala brand portfolio like Pan Bahar Crystal, Pan Bahar, Bahar, Begum, Dilruba, Natkhat & Wah, Bahubali & Bahar Select.

With the Founder and Chairman Mr. Dinesh Jain (son of Late Shri Prakash Chand Jain) giving it overall strategic direction and steering its various business streams, the Group has gone from strength to strength over the years. Today, some of the leading brands that have built the DJ Group are household names, and have spawned entire business categories.

What started as a mission in 2004 with Pan Bahar brand has become a movement by marking global presence now.
He expanded his wings to enter the Hospitality sector. Journey began with developing an exclusive hotel Fortune Park DJ Avenue in the heart of Delhi
Growing in confidence, he moved on in his quest to bring some of the world’s finest lifestyle concepts to life by launching the premiere property Country Inn, again in New Delhi. Today it is not just a hotel but a destination in itself. It has won award after award for hotel property, performance and is Gold Circle property with certificate of excellence from prestigious ranking from Trip Advisor.

The next destination was The Park – Goa, which once again has acquired the prestigious status of ‘Best Boutique Beach Resort’ in Goa. And Conde Nast – the global travellers Bible has ranked it among the top 60 hotels. Once again providing that wherever he goes, landmarks follow Mr. Dinesh Jain is charting new frontiers in Hospitality and Boutique Hotels industry.
